I think that students communivative competences are performed day by day since the day begins. Because in our school since it is a bilingual school, from the moment you arrive in the morning,til the students go home they are involved in a communicative english world so I think that the best techniques to make students communicate is to force them to speak. of course we can use other tools like prizes for the ones who speak english the most.

Meaningfulness, i.e, the use of the language for real communicative purposes is a key issue in developing communicative competence. I'm glad your school setting provides a meaningful environment for Ss' language learning process.
