I think that students communivative competences are performed day by day since the day begins. Because in our school since it is a bilingual school, from the moment you arrive in the morning,til the students go home they are involved in a communicative english world so I think that the best techniques to make students communicate is to force them to speak. of course we can use other tools like prizes for the ones who speak english the most.

april 22/2008 reflection

CURRENT SITUATION OF LANGUAGES: reflecting on today's class we can notice that english is today's style because everybody is looking forward to learn english so that we can have better job opportunities. But other languages like french has lost a little bit of importance in our culture because people only think about traveling to other contries that belong to the United States and we think that people from the States speak english. wrooong! there are other contries that are speaking english and they do not belong to the states.

PRESENT OF ENGLISH: english is gainning a lot of populariy because the people that is the field have had the experience to have a better job than the ones that do not know a word in english. Therefore everybody is interested in learning this language, specially in bilingual schools where almost all the subjects are taught in english and to be part of this schools you must be there since you are a kid.

THE FUTURE OF ENGLISH: taliking about the future it is necessary for me to ask myself some questions. Is english going to be so important in the future?, if everybody is learning english now what are we going to learn in 10 years? well let us see what will happen!
